Andrea Bonisoli Alquati is an Assistant Professor of Biology at Cal Poly Pomona, in Pomona, CA. He has a Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of Milan, Italy. His research focuses on the ecological and evolutionary consequences of contamination, particularly from the nuclear disasters of Chernobyl and Fukushima, and the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
